    Married to a Canadian with 3 daughters – 2 teenage humans and my favourite daughter, a fur baby named Sandy who brings joy and chaos to our home. In my spare time you’ll find me playing kid taxi, walking Sandy, trying out new foods or catching up on the latest sport.

    I’m a sucker for the performing arts and love love love going to the theatre. Anything live on stage is good for me. I’ve also had my share of being on stage myself.

  • Sports nut

    I have a deep affiliation for rugby union and cricket, though my love of sport extends to all types including footy where I’m a long-suffering St Kilda supporter.

  • Immigrant

    Born in South Africa, I immigrated to Australia in the late 90’s. Of Asian descent, I have embraced the vibrant multiculturalism of this country while maintaining a deep connection to my roots.

Why this?

My career thus far has brought me great satisfaction.

I am an accomplished event manager having worked on major events like the Olympics, Commonwealth Games and the Ashes Cricket Series. I’ve also had more than a decade within Local Government in senior management across Arts, Culture, Events and Community Development. You can say I’m experienced in creating bespoke events and serving community.

All my life, I’ve been told that my creativity, confidence and natural affinity to engage with groups large and small are my super powers. This has been the case since… forever

After working for large organisations, I had a revelation that life is too short to be sitting behind a desk.

I still want to engage with people however I want to do something I love and that is building great relationships, bringing joy to people, celebrating lives and creating unforgettable memories.

So here I am – Clint Hong Celebrant– ready to work with you and do just that!
